Charge – specifications

Specifications

  • Used in the fields of Physics, Electronics, Chemistry, Biology, etc.
  • Houses a sensitive voltage sensor with several capacitors in series along the input. While an electric current flows through the circuit, the capacitors gain charge until they have a charge in equilibrium with the voltage level of the source.
  • Includes power and ground wires connected directly to the sensor’s body and alligator clips for both of the power and ground wires.
  • The sensor is pre-calibrated at the factory.

Dew point – specifications

Specifications

  • Used in the fields of Biology, Exercise Science, Environmental Science, Earth Science, Weather Science, Botany, Entomology, etc.
  • The sensor relies on two different sensors to accurately determine the dew point of an environment: a temperature and a humidity sensor. The internal temperature sensor uses a thermistor which changes its resistance according to temperature change. The internal humidity sensor utilizes a dielectric polymer to absorb water molecules.
  • The sensor is pre-calibrated at the factory.

  • The sensor is based on a metal rod connected at both sides to the force sensor hooks in a special shape called ‘S’ shape. A strain gauge is attached to the metal rod and connected to a very sensitive operational amplifier.

Respiration monitor belt – specifications

Specifications

  • Used in the fields of Exercise Science, Biology, Physiology, Human Health, etc.
  • The transducer is based on silicon between metal foils that changes its resistance according to pressure. One side of it is at complete vacuum that enables to measure the absolute pressure on its other side.
  • Includes a respiration monitor belt attached directly to the sensor by flexible rubber tubing and a hand pump with pressure release valve attached directly to the respiration monitor belt.
